Systems Safety Engineer (Electronics) - BW Area - Up to €95,000 (d / m / w) Responsibilities Ensure adherence to all applicable legal, regulatory, and customer-driven product safety requirements across the entire lifecycle of products Actively contribute to development and project teams, working closely with quality management to embed safety considerations into product design and execution Prepare, update, and review safety-related documentation, including technical files, risk assessments, and safety concepts Plan and coordinate certification processes and oversee product safety testing, including for externally sourced components Deliver training sessions, track regulatory developments, and provide regular reporting on product safety matters to senior management Desired Skills and Experience Completed a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or similar 5+ years of professional experience in product safety regulations, CE compliance, and applicable national and international standards Experience in specifying and assessing safety requirements for in-house developments, manufactured products, and supplier components Knowledge (and ideally experience) in testing methodologies and tools Exposure to defense or regulated environments Fluency in German
