Test Engineer | Berlin | €85k

Are you interested in contributing to maintaining a stable energy supply in the future? My client who are a world leader in energy technology are looking for a Test Engineer to carry out the operations of their power systems.

Responsibilities:

• Planning, organising, and executing modifications and conversions of test setups
• Designing and implementing automated system tests – including preparation, execution, documentation, and analysis of test results
• Developing and conducting long-term test setups for control components, and analysing the performance data
• Supporting the continuous development and expansion of our system integration facilities
• Occasionally assisting with product integration and initial on-site commissioning at customer locations

Qualifications:

• A degree in electrical engineering (ideally combined with a vocational qualification in the field or equivalent practical experience)
• Hands-on experience with electrical energy systems – ideally in renewable energy, battery storage, or e-mobility charging infrastructure
• Solid knowledge in testing and validation of electrical components or systems
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr is a plus
• A proactive, resilient personality with strong communication skills and a structured, team-oriented approach to problem-solving
• Fluent in both German and English
