Growth Marketing Manager - Maintenance (CMMS) - (m/f/x)
Department: Marketing & Communications
Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time
Location: Berlin
Description
The Growth Marketing Manager owns growth for osapiens' CMMS software – a product line for automating a company's maintenance operations, built and run with the speed and instincts of a founder driving a new product to market. The job spans building out CMMS's market presence (website, digital ads, value proposition) and pushing revenue hard from day one, across a GTM motion that blends self-serve/PLG with Sales-led demand capture, the majority of which flows to Sales – both need attention, neither at the other's expense.
This is a genuine growth role: relentlessly data-driven, but with the creative instinct to spot and chase opportunities a pure numbers read would miss. Agencies support execution on performance channels and the website, and this person directs that work – but the real job is finding what actually moves revenue and going after it fast, in an environment where the playbook is still being written.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
Growth strategy
- Own the growth strategy across both self-serve/PLG and Sales-led demand capture
- Set the channel mix to hit the CMMS-specific growth targets, revisited as the product and market evolve
- Bring hunger to the role: chase revenue like it's a founder's own product, using AI to move at a high pace
Market presence & positioning
- Build and own CMMS's market presence – website, digital ads, LinkedIn page, positioning, and everything else this product line needs to show up strongly, not just a set of digital assets
- Define CMMS-specific positioning and messaging for its buyers (maintenance managers, operations leads, facility directors), in partnership with Product and Sales
Digital Campaign Management & Demand Capture
- Own digital campaign execution across paid, SEO/GEO, and CMMS's other core channels – hands-on where it matters, working through agencies where it multiplies reach; using AI to handle the volume work a full team would otherwise do
- Build the path from first interest to a qualified Sales handoff, and design the equivalent journey for self-serve users – trial, activation, and expansion
- Direct the digital performance agency and website agency, briefing and holding them accountable to CMMS's goals – execution partners, not a substitute for this person's own hands-on involvement
Stakeholder alignment & reporting
- Get every stakeholder – Product, Sales, agencies, Marketing Operations – genuinely bought in and contributing to CMMS's growth, not just informed of it
- Build and own CMMS's reporting from the ground up, AI‑assisted – pipeline, revenue, trial sign‑ups and activation, cost per MQL/SQL, channel ROI – not inheriting someone else's dashboard
- Report CMMS growth and revenue performance with commercially‑framed recommendations
- This role covers a full product's marketing ownership, and that only works with the help of AI doing what a small team normally would
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Background
- 5-8+ years in digital, performance, or growth marketing, ideally with a track record in a fast‑growing SaaS business
- Hands‑on experience building or scaling a PLG motion – free trials, freemium, in‑product activation – not just familiarity with the concept
- Experience building demand capture for a Sales‑led motion
- Deep, practical channel expertise across paid, SEO/GEO, and digital campaigns
- Experience directing agencies or external partners, not only executing personally
- Genuine AI fluency in a marketing execution context – using AI daily to cover ground a small team would otherwise need
- Experience in CMMS, industrial SaaS, maintenance management, or adjacent verticals (facilities, operations, asset management) is a strong plus
- Fluent English required; German is a plus
How you work
Owns outcomes like a founder would – genuinely hungry to grow CMMS's revenue, not just execute a marketing plan
- Equally comfortable being hands‑on and directing others – runs campaigns personally and holds agencies accountable, as the moment requires
- Combines rigor with instinct: reads the data, but also spots and chases opportunities the data alone wouldn't surface
- Thrives without a fixed playbook – builds the approach as CMMS's market presence takes shape, rather than needing one handed to them
- Proactively brings Product, Sales, and agency partners along, rather than working in a silo and reporting out after the fact
What success looks like
First 3 months
- CMMS's website, ads, and LinkedIn presence are live, positioning is defined, and the SEA/SEO/PLG funnel has been audited with a clear action plan
- The core structure for both funnels – self‑serve and Sales‑led – is set up and running
- First paid campaigns are live with baseline KPIs established, and signal‑based workflows are feeding Sales outreach directly
- Reporting infrastructure exists from day one, even if still maturing
By year one
- CMMS has a strong, established market presence within osapiens' portfolio – its digital presence no longer reads as an afterthought
- Both self‑serve and Sales‑led pipeline are measurably growing
- CMMS's search presence (SEA, SEO, GEO) is strong and compounding across target markets, and funnel conversion is consistently improving
- Leadership can see exactly what's driving CMMS's revenue, and the Growth Marketer can clearly account for it
