Quality Engineer

Your role
- Responsible for managing production quality within the assigned production area
- Ensure effective identification of non-conforming parts in the process and their proper containment; provide methodological support and training to production teams
- Perform analysis of non-conforming products (FTQ, scrap)
- Handle customer complaints including within new projects; monitor deadlines and ensure timely responses & documents the progress in local database also in SAP
- Prepare corrective (including sorting and rework) and preventive actions; oversee their implementation and verify effectiveness
- Apply quality tools and methodologies (QA, 8D, A3, Ishikawa, 5 Why, PFD, PFMEA)
- Conduct process and product audits (dimensional and functional testing, LPA,)
- Support production in process control by verifying execution of tasks defined in Control Plans and related documentation (Work Instructions, Standards, Process Maps, Measurement records)
- Support production in measurement activities; provide guidance and training to operators in measurement techniques
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and projects
- Collaboration with shift quality inspectors
- Organize sorting and segregation of non-conforming parts, subassemblies, and finished products
Your profile
- Secondary technical education (electrical, mechanical or similar field)
- Knowledge of quality standards and requirements related to insulating components and materials
- Experience in a similar position within automotive/manufacturing company (advantage)
- Knowledge of quality methodologies and tools (8D, root cause analysis; knowledge of FMEA, PPAP, APQP is a plus)
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- English; German is an advantage
