As part of Data Labs at SAP, you will shape the semantic foundation for SAP's AI agents by designing enterprise ontologies and grounding AI in real business data. You’ll build scalable context layers that harmonize data from SAP and partner systems to power production AI capabilities, including RAG, embeddings, and knowledge grounding. You’ll collaborate with product, engineering, and domain teams to translate business challenges into deployable AI solutions across enterprise processes. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Design and maintain enterprise ontologies and semantic models for accurate AI-grounded understanding
- Build AI capabilities including RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector databases, and knowledge grounding
- Develop AI solutions using generative AI and LLMs with enterprise data and knowledge graphs
- Leverage SAP data models, metadata structures, and business process semantics across core processes to ground AI
- Work with cloud/data platforms (Databricks, SAP Datasphere, SAP HANA Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP) to enable reliable AI workflows
- Collaborate with product, engineering, business, and customer teams to translate challenges into AI solutions from concept to deployment and continuous improvement
- Apply ML/DL and statistical modeling to real enterprise datasets and assess model performance
- Deploy and operate AI/ML solutions in production with lifecycle management and handoff for ongoing support
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 5+ years in knowledge engineering, semantic data systems, applied AI, or data science
- Master's or PhD in a quantitative field
- Hands-on ontology and semantic model design; proficiency in SPARQL, Cypher, or GQL; understanding RDF vs property graphs
- Experience with GenAI systems, RAG, embeddings, semantic retrieval, and enterprise grounding
- Strong Python and SQL; ML libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn
- Production deployment experience of AI/ML solutions; lifecycle support and continuous improvement
- Experience with big data infra and cloud platforms (Databricks, AWS, Azure, GCP)
