Overview
In this role, you will design and implement the infrastructure toolset for SAP Sovereign Cloud, collaborating with product, security, and engineering teams. You’ll perform POCs and develop/integrate tools to enable DevOps across the cloud environment, balancing new development with maintenance. You’ll troubleshoot and mentor junior engineers, contributing to a mission-focused, collaborative delivery team. This is an opportunity to shape cloud tooling for a regulated, enterprise-scale offering.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Conduct proof-of-concepts and productive tool development/integration for SAP Sovereign Cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with product owners, program managers, developers, and security to define tooling requirements
- Refactor and maintain existing systems to improve reliability and performance
- Troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions
- Mentor and support junior team members
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 6+ years of professional experience in cloud delivery-related fields
- University degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Strong knowledge of public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their offerings
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerizing VM-based workloads
- Experience with scripting languages
- Experience with SAP Product Offerings, SAP Basis, S/4HANA/S/4HANA PCE and IBP is imperative
- Experience with project management or collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Notion)
- Fluency in written and spoken English
