What you`ll do

As a User Researcher in our team, you contribute to an excellent user experience of our mobile app portfolio for a diverse set of users and industries.

The Role:

As a User Researcher, you work closely together with key design and product team members to help define and drive the future of our mobile products.

You lead and execute user-centric (research) projects end-to-end, engaging with end users, customers and customer-facing teams, as well as app teams, to better understand the users’ work processes & needs.

As a User Researcher, you employ a diverse set of UX research tools and methods, from moderated (1:1 interviews, workshops, usability tests) and unmoderated activities (automated user studies with prototypes) to maintaining in-app feedback projects and analyzing feedback and usage data. You advocate research findings by delivering excellent oral and written presentations to summarize the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data.

With your skills and passion, you contribute to planning and implementing new user research strategies, methodologies and tools and drive a user-centric product definition.

What you bring

1. Degree in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Human Computer Interaction or comparable fields
2. Minimum 5-7 years experience in conducting user research, preferably in a business software context, preferably with experience in the mobile area
3. Experience with applying a variety of both moderated and unmoderated study methods, preferably experience with behavioral analytics based on usage data
4. Experience with different research tools for (remote) testing (e.g. UserZoom, UserTesting, Respondent, or comparable)
5. Excellent communication skills in German and English

You are a dynamic and strong team player with good writing, presentation, and time management skills. You feel comfortable working and communicating in international and cross-functional teams. You can effectively engage and convey findings to cross-functional technical and non-technical teams.

You work with highly motivated user researchers and in close collaboration with our design teams and product management/engineering counterparts. Your team is conducting user research projects for the entire SAP Mobile Experience & Engineering unit.
