What you'll build

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented working student to join our Security Patch Quality Assurance Team. You will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations, including but not limited to:
Design and implement AI-driven process automation solutions to optimize workflows and reduce manual effort.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and implement AI automation initiatives
Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate the feasibility and value of AI-based process automation
Contributing to the continuous improvement of Processes by identifying areas for optimization and suggesting enhancements to the processes and tools used.

What you bring

• Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
• Preferred fields of study: Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Computer skills / Programming languages: Python, Claude or any AI based development skill
• Language skills: Fluent in English, German as a plus
• Soft skills: Excellent organizational skills, ability to work in a team, creative problem solver, strong attention to detail
• Other important skills/experience:
• You have a good grasp of AI concepts such as: agent skills and tools, MCP, prompt techniques, context-injection, RAG, etc
• You are familiar with orchestration tools: Kubernetes, GitHub Actions
• You experimented, worked, or have personal projects employing multi-agent or generative AI frameworks
• Working from Walldorf office is required

Where do you belong

The Patch Quality Assurance Team is part of the Responsible Disclosure Team and is a dynamic international team comprising experienced security experts that manage the quality assurance of the security patches for vulnerabilities reported by independent security researchers, customers, partners together with engineering teams across SAP. As part of this global team, you’ll be involved in projects to support our time critical deliverables.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
