With increasing demand from the critical minerals, resources, and industrial sectors, we are seeking talented engineers who want to play a meaningful role in developing the next generation of resource processing projects.

We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Piping Engineer to join our growing European operation.

This position provides a unique opportunity to lead mechanical and piping engineering activities across major studies and project delivery phases, working closely with clients and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.

As the Senior Mechanical Piping Engineer, you will:

  • Lead mechanical and piping design activities from concept through to commissioning and operational readiness.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, calculations, work packs, and detailed engineering documentation.
  • Develop and review plant layouts, pumping systems, piping networks, and material handling systems.
  • Prepare and review PFDs and P&IDs and coordinate design interfaces across disciplines.
  • Support feasibility studies, detailed engineering, procurement, construction support, and commissioning activities.
  • Coordinate vendor engagement, equipment package development, bid evaluations, and technical assessments.
  • Provide field engineering support to construction and commissioning teams.
  • Lead small project teams and provide mentoring, coaching, and technical guidance to engineers and designers.
  • Utilise engineering analysis tools to evaluate and optimise mechanical system performance.
  • Support business development activities, proposals, and client engagement initiatives.

You bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience within engineering design and project delivery environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in mechanical and piping design for industrial or minerals processing facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial plant layouts, pumping systems, material handling equipment, and piping infrastructure.
  • Experience reviewing and developing PFDs and P&IDs.
  • Exposure to procurement support, vendor management, construction, and commissioning activities.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams in a consultancy environment.
  • Familiarity with engineering analysis software and design tools.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management capability.
  • Knowledge of German engineering standards and regulations.
  • Professional proficiency in German and English.
