To support this growth, we are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing European team.
In this role, you will provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle, contributing to feasibility studies, detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness. You will work within multidisciplinary project teams and directly influence the successful delivery of complex minerals processing and industrial projects across Europe.
As the Senior Electrical Engineer, you will:
- Lead electrical and instrumentation engineering activities across studies, design, execution, commissioning, and operational support.
- Develop and review electrical engineering deliverables including specifications, reports, calculations, work packs, and detailed design documentation.
- Provide technical expertise in hazardous area design and electrical equipment specification.
- Lead functional safety activities and support the development of LOPA documentation and safety lifecycle deliverables.
- Perform electrical system studies and engineering calculations for greenfield and brownfield projects.
- Facilitate technical workshops including HAZOP reviews and multidisciplinary design reviews.
- Support procurement activities including vendor engagement, package development, technical bid evaluations, and equipment selection.
- Provide field engineering, commissioning, and construction support during project execution.
- Mentor and guide engineers and designers, fostering technical excellence across project teams.
- Contribute to proposals, business development initiatives, and client engagement activities.
You bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years' experience delivering engineering design solutions within industrial, mining, minerals processing, or heavy industry environments.
- Strong experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering design.
- Expertise in hazardous area design and electrical equipment specification.
- Experience developing functional safety documentation and LOPA assessments.
- Knowledge of control systems design and industrial automation systems.
- Strong understanding of project delivery within multidisciplinary consultancy environments.
- Proven leadership capability with experience guiding and mentoring technical teams.
- Knowledge of German engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
- Professional proficiency in both German and English.
