ppWe are opening a position for a bRequirement and Test Automation Engineer /b to strengthen a team working on a complex, safety-critical software environment. The role combines requirements engineering, technical documentation, system testing, and test automation within an Agile development framework. /p h3Job Responsibilities /h3 ul liAnalyse business and end-user needs and translate them into clear and structured functional and system requirements. /li liReview applicable regulations, quality standards, and safety constraints to ensure that software deliverables meet the required compliance levels. /li liDevelop, review, maintain, and trace system requirements throughout the different levels of the product architecture. /li liDesign and maintain test cases that ensure adequate coverage of both system and component requirements. /li liDevelop and maintain automated testing solutions, primarily using Python, with additional exposure to Java, JUnit-based frameworks, and Gherkin. /li liExecute manual and automated tests, document the outcomes, and maintain test records in the relevant test management systems. /li liInvestigate software defects, document issues in JIRA, and contribute to root-cause analysis and resolution activities. /li liParticipate in formal system validation activities, including Factory Acceptance Testing, while working closely with end users and multidisciplinary teams. /li /ul h3Job Requirements /h3 ul liMinimum of 5 years of professional experience in a safety-critical environment, ideally involving mission-critical software systems. /li liSolid background in software requirements engineering, technical documentation, system testing, and test case development. /li liAbility to understand end-user processes and terminology and convert operational needs into precise requirements and effective test scenarios. /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, combined with a structured, rigorous, and detail-oriented approach. /li liProven experience with test automation using Python; knowledge of Java, JUnit, and/or Gherkin is considered a strong advantage. /li liHigh level of autonomy, adaptability, organisation, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and under pressure. /li liFamiliarity with real-time, security-critical, or air traffic management systems, as well as standards such as ESARR6/EC482, ED153, IEC 61508, or ISO 12207, is an advantage. /li liExcellent written and spoken English is required. /li /ul pContinuous learning: A monthly training budget that can be used across a wide range of courses /p p25 days of paid leave: All employees are entitled to 25 days of paid holiday per year /p pRegular events: Monthly gatherings in both small and large groups /p pInternational environments: Opportunities to work on projects for major international organisations /p pInnovation: Contribute to impactful and innovative projects across a wide range of industries /p pExtra benefits: Access to an attractive programme of benefits and discounts /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
