Water Solutions serves its thousands of customers in diverse industries through three major market segments (Industrial Water & Energy, Desalination & Drinking Water, and Life Sciences & Specialties) using multiple technologies from its portfolio across major geographies of the world.Water Solutions is seeking a ***Raw Material Planner*** to support the manufacturing facility located in Greifenberg, Germany.The employee will schedule and purchase raw materials based on forecast and/or actual demand taking into consideration current inventory levels, and transit time. Exception orders will be viewed and managed via SAP, other reporting tools, notification from Production Planner and Purchasing. Through use of SAP/APO (or other tools, such as Excel) Raw Material Planner will modify the receiving activities as needed and communicate changes to the manufacturing/logistics organization.Key responsibilities:* Notify and work with the Production Planner to ensure there are enough raw materials to run the schedule and not adversely affect the remaining schedule and customer requirements.* Monitor raw material logistics, resolve conflicts to ensure smooth flow of material into our facilities.* Participate in meetings to review the production schedule, to ensure adequate raw materials are in inventory to support the production plan.* Define the raw material needs and issue regular forecasts to suppliers* Enter quality complaints and participate in the CAPA requirements for raw material service and quality issues.* Contribute data and guidance in annual tenders* Participate in supply chain design projects* Support annual inventory counts.* Back-up to the Production Planner during vacation periods to maintain tactical aspects of the site production schedule.Key requirements:* **Bachelor's degree** or equivalent relevant professional experience* **Several years of experience** in logistics, supply chain, and/or planning* **Fluency in English and German*** Experience with **SAP** is desirable* Ability to **work closely with the current Production planner** and relevant stakeholders* Ability to **work autonomously** and take ownership of responsibilities* **Continuous improvement mindset**, with openness to change and new ways of working* Ability to **adapt and perform effectively in a changing environment**#LI-DK1Join our to stay connected with us!DuPont is an equal opportunity employer.
