We are looking for a Data Scientist in GenAI who is passionate about exploring the latest trends in AI, researching new technologies, and enabling the development of AI-driven solutions. You will be part of the core team responsible for providing tooling and insights to the pruduct teams.
Responsibilities
- Researching and evaluating the latest trends in GenAI , including state-of-the-art models and tools such as Perplexity, ChatGPT, and other emerging AI innovations
- Conducting experiments on new AI tooling and methodologies to assess their feasibility and potential impact
- Reverse engineering, reconstructing, and analyzing current AI trends to understand their underlying mechanics
- Delegating the implementation of validated tools and solutions to Python engineers for production deployment
What do you need to succeed
- PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field with touchpoints in GenAI from a leading technical university such as e.g. ETH Zurich
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and advanced prompt engineering
- Strong research capabilities with the ability to analyze, evaluate, and experiment with new AI technologies
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with engineers and product teams
