Your responsibilities

Research associates will be expected primarily to teach and conduct research. The research associate will also have the opportunity to pursue further academic qualifications, in particular a doctoral dissertation. At least one-third of set working hours will be made available for the research associate’s own academic work.

Research in our group is in the field of public economics, combining theory, behavioral economics, and experiments. Environmental economic questions are considered. An association with the Research Training Group Collective Decision is possible depending on the research profile. Besides an active role in research projects, the position involves 3 hours per week teaching of tutorials and the supervision of students in seminars, e.g. in Microeconomics, Public Economics, Environmental and Resource Economics. The candidate will be a member in a team with a strong research focus in an international network and is offered intensive support of the dissertation project. An excellent command of English is required.

Your profile

A university degree in a relevant field.

Required is a master degree in Economics, Mathematical Economics or in a related discipline. Profound knowledge of Microeconomics and its applications is essential.
