The Infrastructure Platform team builds, automates and enhances the cloud and container-based platform and datastores that underpin every product team at GetYourGuide. The team describes itself as engineers for the engineers — designing the abstractions, paved paths and self-service tooling that let other teams ship safely and quickly without becoming experts in the underlying systems.
The stack is built on AWS, Kubernetes and Istio. As Engineering Manager you would lead that team, balancing platform reliability against developer velocity.
Good fit for: engineering managers or senior tech leads with a platform, SRE or DevOps background, hands‑on experience of Kubernetes in production, and a track record of growing infrastructure teams.
