Vista Aircraft Maintenance provides both line and base maintenance for the fleet. The team ensures aircraft safety, reliability, and availability through rigorous standards, proactive maintenance, and a global network of facilities. Position: Sheet Metal Mechanic (Baden Baden)
We are looking for a Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our Baden Baden team on a permanent basis, working Monday‑Friday. In this hands‑on role, you will be responsible for performing structural repairs and modifications on aircraft components made from metal and composite materials, in accordance with approved maintenance documentation.
Your Responsibilities
- Carry out repairs and modifications to aircraft structural parts and components made of metal and composite materials in accordance with applicable maintenance documents and repair instructions.
- Collaborate with technical planners to create repair proposals based on manufacturer instructions and technical publications.
- Handle aircraft sheet metal, semi‑finished products, and common fasteners with confidence.
- Show curiosity and a willingness to learn new procedures, working methods, and to develop yourself further.
- Support the team of technicians as required with other work that arises in the context of aircraft maintenance.
Required Skills, Qualifications, And Experience
- Completed training as an aircraft mechanic, construction mechanic, sheet‑metal worker, or metal technician with several years of professional experience in the field.
- Good command of written and spoken German and English.
- Physically resilient, works independently, carefully and reliably, flexible, and a good team player.
- Valid Class B driving licence.
