Your Role
As an LLM Game Designer, you will shape how NPCs think, talk, and behave in our world. Your core craft is prompting: writing, structuring, and iterating on the prompts that drive NPC personalities, dialogue, and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Write, structure, and iterate on prompts driving NPC personalities, dialogue, and behavior
- Design and refine AI-driven systems for NPC dialogue, reactions, and decisions
- Build distinct character personalities with consistent voice across interactions
- Create villager automation systems enabling NPC assistance to players
- Ensure NPC interactions feel organic, contextual, and event-connected
- Integrate AI with gameplay teams across quests, economy, and survival mechanics
- Test, evaluate, and improve prompt quality via playtests and player feedback
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional game design experience
- Up-to-date knowledge of major LLM models
- Strong prompt design and iteration skills
- Experience designing character, dialogue, or story systems
- Ability to work onsite in Munich, Germany
- Valid EU work authorization
