Yibi Precision is looking for a Product Development Engineer to support the development of precision metal components from early-stage design assessment through production validation.
Responsibilities
- Review component designs for manufacturability and production feasibility.
- Evaluate geometry, materials, tolerances and manufacturing routes.
- Work with MIM, CNC, tooling and manufacturing teams during product industrialization.
- Identify potential risks related to shrinkage, deformation, assembly and dimensional stability.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
- Experience developing precision mechanical or metal components.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis and DFM.
- Knowledge of CNC, MIM, injection molding, die casting or similar manufacturing processes.
- Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills.
