About ERP and the Project

Energy Resilience Partners, LLC (ERP) is a tribally led federal energy-resilience contractor building the contingent team for the USAG Ansbach - Storck Barracks Smart Microgrid in Bavaria, Germany.

The 730-day project integrates two 1 MW diesel generators, 2 MW / 4 MWh battery energy storage, photovoltaic generation, 20 k V medium-voltage distribution, fuel systems, protection, SCADA/microgrid controls, fiber communications, an underground interconnection corridor and full testing, training and commissioning.

Position Summary

Directs PV civil, pile/racking, modules, DC/AC BOS, inverter/controller, grounding, labeling, testing, and punch work.

What You Will Do

  • Plan and execute PV/BESS civil, structural, electrical, controls, OEM, logistics, quality, safety, testing, and punch activities.
  • Verify design, submittal, material, access, AHA, inspection, and work-front prerequisites before installation.
  • Coordinate PV arrays/inverters, BESS/PCS, foundations, MV/LV, grounding, communications, fire/HVAC, controls, and commissioning interfaces.
  • Track installed quantities, productivity, equipment custody, tests, deficiencies, redlines, and turnover by system.
  • Protect OEM warranty and deliver commissioning-ready systems in the approved sequence.
  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Directly related PV, BESS, electrical, civil, rigging, OEM, or superintendent experience appropriate to the LCAT.
  • Required Germany/EU work authorization, trade/OEM qualifications, and safe equipment operation for onsite roles.
  • Ability to perform in an active U. S. military installation under ERP, CQC, and SSHO controls.
  • German-language capability and Germany-local credential/practice knowledge appropriate to the duties; English required for Government-facing functions.
  • Preferred Qualifications

Utility-scale PV/BESS, VDE, NABCEP/OEM, MV electrical, rigging, federal/OCONUS, or German-language experience.

  • German-language, local credential, local-practice or continuous-presence needs control selection.
  • Germany-local employment, approved DOCPER/ECOPS accreditation, or other lawful long-term work authorization before onsite work.
  • Employer/engagement source must match the approved ERP staffing plan, subcontract chain, independence rules and German employment/work-status requirements.
  • No field work may begin until required Government personnel approval, installation access/badging, safety orientation, role designation/appointment, system/data permissions and work-front release are complete.
  • Field, Travel and Employment Conditions
  • Work arrangement: FULL-TIME ONSITE - remote work is incidental; minimum presence: Full-time during PV work.
  • Project-based and contingent upon award/NTP, funding, final staffing authorization, qualification verification, Government approval where applicable, employer-of-record completion and installation access.
  • Must support approved work hours, outages, testing windows, alternate shifts, weekends or German holidays when the schedule and lawful working-time controls require.
  • Must comply with ERP/prime direction, EM 385-1-1, German safety and labor requirements, quality controls, CUI/FCI and photography/device restrictions, accurate timekeeping and project conduct rules.
