THE ROLE

At LIGHT Q , cutting-edge technologies converge: ultrafast lasers, photonics, and electronics, creating next generation computing solutions. Working closely with experts in optics, lasers, integrated photonics, and ML engineering, you own the design and simulation of mixed-signal compute hardware, including digital electronics hardware interfacing with our photonic building blocks. With a broad background in digital compute hardware, you simulate and evaluate system pipelines, complementing our Digital Twin team. You enable translating theoretical performance at the intersection of electronics and optics into real-world systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Digital Twin Development — Develop digital twin solutions covering digital compute and analog interfaces.
• AMS Co-Simulation — Drive analog and mixed-signal co-simulations, working closely with photonics simulation experts.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• AMS modelling — You have hands‑on expertise with analog and mixed‑signal modelling and verification.
• Cross-abstraction modelling — You can model analog and digital electronic hardware blocks at various abstraction levels.
• Cross-boundary debugging — You have strong debug skills across the analog/digital boundary.
• System-level fluency — You have extensive system-level hardware and compiler knowledge.
• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
