NeoProtect delivers DDoS protection as rentable software instances via our On Premise Shieldand with that protects Terabits of legitimate traffic every second. Additionally, we also have our Game Shield wherewe protect Game Servers from DDoS attacks via a globally distributed network of proxy services.
Thus, we serve primarily SMEs, Enterprises but also Consumers.
What you’d work on
- Owning the technical relationship for On-Premise Platform customers, end to end
- Running onboarding: from the sales handoff (ensuring compatibility and implementation requirements suffice within the setup), through implementation(deploying Business or Enterprise filter nodes and integrating them intothe customer’s network, including multi-VRF setups), theproduction-readiness review, and the staged go-live
- Configuring and resolving production technical problems that require in-depth knowledge
- Translating a customer’s requirement into something we can develop
- Technical support in presales conversations for prospects with real networkcomplexity, no sales target nor beyond-technical sales touchpoint
What we’re looking for
- Basic working knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, different IGP, basics) and general network engineering capabilities
- Wireshark is your territory and connecting the dots to trace issues within our software is a major part of the job
- Experience with Object oriented programming and programming concepts as well as experience with general programming (you know whats possible, what not and can estimate timelines)
- Experience talking to customers directly during a live technical problem,including expectation management when the honest answer is “we’re stillworking on it”
- A background such as NOC operations, sysadmin work at a hosting provider orISP, or presales/solutions engineering
- English at a working level (C1+), written and preferably good spoken as well (not a major concern, most is written communication)
Useful but not expected:
- Prior experience with DDoS mitigation or network security specifically
- Familiarity with Prometheus/Grafana-based monitoring
- German, for the share of customers based in the DACH region
How we work
You are (within legal limits, set meetings and occasional scheduling) free to choose when you work or from which location, all fully remote.We provide a laptop and general work equipment needed to properly perform, as well as AI tooling and software to carry outand plan your work. The occasional swag-package and other benefits will also generally be handed out.
