NeoProtect delivers DDoS protection as rentable software instances via our On Premise Shieldand with that protects Terabits of legitimate traffic every second. Additionally, we also have our Game Shield wherewe protect Game Servers from DDoS attacks via a globally distributed network of proxy services.
Thus, we serve primarily SMEs, Enterprises but also Consumers.
What you'd work on
- Running NeoProtect's social channels: planning and writing posts aroundproduct releases, blog articles, status and incident updates, and theoccasional look behind the scenes
- Following the forums and communities where our customers are - communities, hosting and network-operator forums, Reddit,Discord
- Spotting threads, recurring questions and complaints worth passing on, soproduct, support and the blog hear what people are actually asking about
- Building processes around this to ensure consistency and effectivity
What we’re looking for
- Experience posting in, moderating or running an online community - a forum,a Discord server, a subreddit, a server network's socials, or your personal socials
- Writing that sounds like a person: short, clear, with style
- Enough interest in game servers or hosting to follow a technical thread andknow when to hand a question to someone on the team instead of guessing
- Basic image or short-video editing for social posts
- Working English and German in writing
Useful but not expected:
- Familiarity with the Networking and Network Security industry
- Having run a channel or account and grown it yourself
- Presence locally in Deggendorf where our Main office is
How we work
You are (within legal limits, set meetings and occasional scheduling) free to choose when you work or from which location, all fully remote.We provide a laptop and general work equipment needed to properly perform, as well as AI tooling and software to carry outand plan your work. The occasional swag-package and other benefits will also generally be handed out.
Our work is based on substantive criticism and feedback across people and teams. Usage of systems shall always be done with thequestion in mind: "what could be done to improve this"; and acting upon said question in terms of issue creation and concepts.We strive to make better products, at all times.
