Optimus Search has partnered with a leading IT service provider specializing in healthcare solutions. With offices in multiple locations across Germany, including Wesel, Hanover, and Oldenburg , this company is part of a larger, well-established group, known for its innovative approach and strong financial stability. They have been a trusted partner in the healthcare sector for decades, processing millions of prescriptions annually for a wide range of clients in the medical and healthcare industries.

They are currently looking for a Software Developer (m/f/d) with expertise in VB.NET and/or VB6 to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on industry-specific software solutions that have a direct impact on healthcare operations.

Your Role:

• Maintain and support the company’s healthcare software solutions.
• Ensure the smooth operation of the systems and associated processes.
• Conduct software testing and document the results.
• Collaborate closely with various departments to ensure seamless workflows.

What We’re Looking For:

• You have completed formal training as an IT specialist (application development) or have an IT-oriented degree.
• You bring solid experience in VB.NET and/or VB6 development.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) is a plus.
• Experience with interface development and web services (e.g., REST APIs , C# ) is beneficial.
• You have a structured, analytical approach to solving complex tasks.
• Strong communication skills, teamwork, and high self-motivation are essential.
• Proficiency in written and spoken German is required.
