German clients send us their sales, pricing and customer data so we can test a decision before they make it. Those files describe their customers, and every client asks how we protect them before sharing anything.
We're hiring an Information Security Analyst in Germany to look after that data and show clients how it is protected.
Full-time, remote from anywhere in Germany. Our leadership is in Miami, six hours behind, so a few calls land in your afternoon.
Your first months
First month: You map where client data comes in, where it is stored and who can open it, across our cloud storage, our analysis database and the team's laptops.
By month three: You review access rights and sign-in settings, follow up the alerts from our Microsoft 365 and laptop security tools, and answer the security questionnaires clients send before a project starts.
By month six: You keep our GDPR records current, run the yearly security training for the German team, and bring each risk you find to leadership with a proposed fix.
What you bring
- A degree in computer science, information security, business informatics or a related field
- Knowledge of access control, encryption and secure settings for cloud services
- Some experience in IT security or IT administration, from a job, an internship or a thesis
- A working knowledge of the GDPR
Also useful: Microsoft 365 or Azure security tools, ISO 27001 or BSI IT-Grundschutz, and a certificate such as CompTIA Security+.
