Senior Project Manager in Frankfurt am Main

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team in Germany and take ownership of a complex portfolio of projects. This role goes beyond traditional project management and includes portfolio oversight, client relationship management, governance, and delivery coordination responsibilities. You will serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, ensuring successful project outcomes while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and driving operational excellence.

What Will You Do

• Manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and budget adherence.
• Take ownership of project governance, risk management, escalations, and successful project transitions.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
• Collaborate closely with project teams, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Independently manage an existing project portfolio and ensure continuity during transitions.
• Monitor project financial performance, including revenue, margins, budgets, and forecasting.
• Prepare and facilitate steering committees, governance meetings, and executive stakeholder discussions.
• Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to the continuous enhancement of project delivery practices and methodologies.
• Ensure alignment between customer expectations, project objectives, and business outcomes.

We Ask

• 10+ years of experience in Project Management, Program Management, or Portfolio Management.
• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects within complex customer environments.
• Strong client-facing stakeholder management skills and experience building relationships with senior decision-makers.
• Experience with project governance, risk management, budget ownership, and escalation handling.
• Commercial awareness with an understanding of project financials, revenue, margins, and forecasting.
• Consulting, Professional Services, or IT Services background is preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and effectively manage competing priorities.
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
