Role Summary
1.Efficiently manage and operate human resources, and train employees to support business goal achievement according to business strategy
2.Build cooperative corporate-labor relationship and foster healthy organizational culture to enhance work satisfaction for management and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Establishing and shaping HR structures and processes.
- Act as the point of contact for management, executives, and employees across multiple locations regarding all HR-related matters.
- Advise managers on personnel measures and execute them proficiently.
- Lead strategic HR projects and develop or optimize internal processes and policies.
- Collaborate closely and trustfully with the Works Council and negotiate works agreements independently.
- Lead and develop the HR teams.
- Monitor with the HR team the preparation and follow-up for outsourced payroll processing as well as monthly and annual closing activities.
- Manage the recruitment process for your assigned area, from posting job vacancies to successful hiring (with support for applicant management).
- Handle health management, collaboration with external partners including audits.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in HR, or comparable qualification
- Extensive, relevant professional experience (at least 8–10 years) in HR, including leadership experience
- Well-versed in labor / Works Constitution law, social security regulations, and payroll tax law
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Fluent German and very good English skills
- Practical experience with HR systems, ideally Workday
- Experience in working with works councils
- Strong service orientation, assertiveness, flexibility, and organizational skills.
- Experience in logistics is an advantage
- Experience in strategic and operational HR work, and change management.
- Open-minded towards other cultures.
- Proven experience in HR in logistics environments with blue- and white-collar employees and temp agencies.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze KPIs.
- Strong service orientation, assertiveness, flexibility, and organizational skills.
- Focus on strategic and operational HR work.
