Overview
In this role you will ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of Swissquote’s production eFX/Crypto platforms. You will collaborate with Infrastructure and Development engineers to operate and improve production environments across on-premise and private cloud infrastructure. You will champion automation, observability, and scalable infrastructure to reduce manual work and boost system readiness. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape the reliability culture at a fast-growing digital bank with a strong tech focus. You’ll work in a cross-functional team that values practical, high-impact improvements and continuous learning.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Monitor production systems and respond to incidents to maintain uptime and performance
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and containerized apps in production and on-premise infrastructure
- Contribute to design and implementation of scalable, reliable infrastructure solutions
- Automate IT and operational processes to increase efficiency
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Improve observability with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Elastic/Kibana
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Conduct stress, resilience, DR, and BC testing to validate platform stability
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and Development teams to improve production readiness
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide production support
- Continuously improve operational processes, automation, monitoring, and reliability practices
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 3+ years in SRE, DevOps, Systems/Platform Engineering or similar
- Strong hands-on Kubernetes in production (mandatory)
- Kubernetes architecture knowledge: services mesh (Istio), health checks, DNS, networking
- Linux admin and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Docker and container tech
- On-premise and/or private cloud infrastructure experience
- Infrastructure as Code and automation (Terraform, Ansible)
- CI/CD pipeline experience
- Observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic/Kibana)
- Programming/scripting in Python and Shell
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTPS, HTTP, load balancing)
- SRE concepts (SLIs/SLOs/SLAs, availability, reliability)
- Java web apps and servers (Spring Boot, Tomcat)
- Fluent English, willingness to learn French
