We are looking for an ILS Analysis Engineer, highly organized and detail-oriented, to join our team to support our client Spaceopal in Munich, Germany.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will play a crucial part on the evolutions of the ground infrastructure (for example participation to reviews, support ILS analysis tasks, evolvement and continuous improvement of already existing operation support processes and procedures), and include dealing with the daily support of the Galileo ground infrastructure, e.g. support local L1 maintenance team on ILS issues, follow-up logistics aspects and documentation needs.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Contribute to ILS engineering and analysis tasks in the frame of the continuous improvement process and system evolutions
- Support to the analysis of the defined support policies applied for the Galileo System
- Review of the Logistic Support Analysis and harmonisation of data inputs and their integration into the GSOp tools
- Review of the RAMS and identification of Support gaps
- Review of the System Obsolescence and their implications on operations
- Provide ILS inputs to inquiries and reports Data Management in the ILS tools and assurance of common norms and standards
- Provide support to operations, e.g. L1 maintenance, wrt the availability of spares/ support
- Maintain and update Asset status information in central tools Participate to GSOp internal Meetings, support GSOp ILS/CM reporting tasks with inputs gathered locally and via central tools
- Participate to GSOp external ILS meetings in order to coordinate with external parties ILS and Configuration Management aspects
- Liaise with and support local Maintenance Teams with regard to the ILS/CM interface
- Contribute to reviews of data packs received from infrastructure provider in the frame of new releases/evolutions
Key Qualifications (Experience, Education, Capabilities)
- A degree in Telecommunications/Electronics/Informatics/Aerospace Engineering with at least 2 years of work experience. Alternatively, 5+ years related work experience
- A good technical background/experience on the Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) disciplines and tasks
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Fluency in standard office automation tools (MS Office, Email, Internet, etc.)
- Hands-on mentality and systematic, self-organized, able to prioritize way of working
- This is a full-time position to be located at Spaceopal headquarter (Munich, Germany), with the planned start date as soon as possible.
- Participation in meetings in other relevant project locations in Europe is foreseen.
