Tasks & Responsibilities
-
Contact person for a fixed customer base as well as their employees and retirees; customer-specific support and advice on all personnel and payroll-related matters.

Independent, timely preparation and execution of the monthly payroll accounting including follow-up activities and company pension scheme in compliance with all legal, collective bargaining and individual contractual requirements.

Handling of monthly and annual closing procedures as well as correspondence and communication with tax authorities, health insurance companies and government agencies

Independent error analysis in SAP HCM, clarification of customer inquiries and requirements, and comprehensive information and documentation.

Participation in project work
Requirements
-
Sound professional knowledge in payroll accounting as well as in tax and social security law

Several years of relevant professional experience, e.g. as a tax clerk or payroll accountant

Good numerical skills as well as analytical and conceptual abilities; ability to quickly acquire new knowledge

Comprehensive knowledge of SAP HCM (or alternatively another payroll program) and confident use of MS Office, especially Excel
-
Strong customer and service orientation, high problem-solving skills and very good communication skills
-
Proficient German language skills, both spoken and written (at least C1/C2 level)
