Purpose of the Role:

As a Country Service & Product Manager IoT Connectivity for IoT Connectivity, you will be part of the Vertical Markets team and responsible for Mobile Networks & Technology Roadmap as part of Managed IoT Connectivity Offering. This includes scope, proposition definition, delivery, migration and lifecycle management of solutions, as well as defining Roadmaps.

The Product Manager will be working in a cross-functional team of 10 with flat hierarchies and closely interlinked to our team of solution architects, platform engineers and service delivery teams to create solutions and services that keep us at the leading edge of technology and ahead of the competition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Technology Roadmap: creates business requirements for mobile core platforms & technology roadmap to align with customer and market demands. Define delivery and migration plans and manage dependencies with IoT platforms. Evaluate business, customer, commercial and technical impact of Technology Roadmap.
• Manage budget for Mobile Network / Technology Development & Operations with internal / external suppliers.
• Product Requirements: Create detailed requirements, propositions and specifications for new products / services around Network, Security or enhancements to existing IoT Connectivity products. Design and launch new services around mobile core networks.
• Market Launch: Plan and execute go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, operational, support and processes readiness.
• Architecture and Design Support: Collaborate with technical teams to support the architecture and design of IoT connectivity / network solutions.
• Technology Evaluation: Assess business and technical impact of new technologies, networks (e.g., 5G, LPWAN), and platforms relevant to IoT applications.
• Project Management: Business Owner in a Mobile Core Network Program. Coordinate as Business Owner core network delivery and migration projects, including defining business requirements, planning, stakeholder alignment and progress tracking.
• Stakeholder Management: Work with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, architects, operations and support.
• Customer Support: Support sales and customer service to address technical queries and incorporate customer feedback into future product developments.
• Data Analysis: Use data analytics to understand usage patterns and identify areas for improvement.
• Security, Quality, Legal Assurance: Ensure connectivity solutions meet security, quality and regulatory standards and mitigate potential threats.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Relevant university degree (or adequate professional experience) – technical background
• At least 5 years of professional experience in product management, preferably within Mobile Network / IoT Connectivity/ Telecommunication Area
• Knowledge of mobile networks and IoT technologies (LTE / 5G NSA / SA, IMS / VoLTE, NB-IoT, LTE-M, roaming)
• Understanding of different components of our systems (e.g. Connectivity Management Platforms (CMP), SGP.32 eIM, API gateways, SIM provisioning middleware, OSS/BSS (CRM, billing, order management)
• Basic Understanding of SIM/eSIM technologies, USIM profiles, OTA provisioning and SM-DP+/SM- is an asset
• Basic understanding of PGW/UPF, APN configuration, QoS profiles, PCC/charging and Diameter/SIP signaling
• Ability to abstract complex technical and commercial information and transform these into easy-to-understand propositions for new services and products
• Broad interdisciplinary know-how on business topics and IoT market understanding
• Fluency in English. Eastern European or German language are assets
