Quint develops fault-tolerant superconducting quantum computers designed for high-speed operations with breakthrough error correction efficiency. Quantum devices need to be able to handle unavoidable errors fast, repeatedly, in real-time, and with manageable resource overhead to enable industrial applications. Our team combines entrepreneurial momentum with decades of cutting-edge R&D experience to unlock quantum computing's global impact.
The role
As our Office Manager, you are the central organizational backbone of Quint. You work directly with our co-founder COO/CFO and keep everything running in the background, from invoices and orders to travel, events and the office itself, so that our R&D team can focus on building the future of quantum computing.
You will be one of our first hires outside the technical team. That means you won't just run existing processes: you will help shape how we organize ourselves as we grow.
Day-to-Day
- Finance administration: prepare bookkeeping documents, check and process incoming invoices, handle expense and travel cost reports, and support the COO/CFO with payments, budgets and reporting.
- HR administration: prepare employment contracts, organize onboarding and offboarding, maintain employee records, prepare payroll documents, and support international hires.
- Procurement & logistics: order office and lab supplies and equipment, compare offers, manage suppliers, and track deliveries.
- Events: organize team events, workshops, and visits from partners and investors, and coordinate our presence at conferences.
- Travel & calendars: manage our founders' calendars, coordinate meetings, and plan and book business travel.
You should apply if you
- have completed vocational training in office management or a comparable commercial qualification, or hold a Bachelor's degree in business administration, management or a related field.
- ideally bring experience as an executive assistant or in office management, for example supporting a managing director or running the office of a university chair.
- are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
- are confident with common office software and quick to learn new digital tools.
- enjoy a fast-moving environment where you take initiative and set up processes yourself.
