Responsibilities
As an Expert in People Analytics & Workforce Strategy, you will define and shape SMS group’s global approach to Strategic Workforce Planning, People Analytics, and HR Controlling.
Your focus will be on conceptual work, including the development of frameworks, processes, standards, governance models, and business requirements. You will align stakeholders across HR, Finance, IT, regions, and business units, and advise senior management on strategic workforce topics.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and continuously improving the global Strategic Workforce Planning framework
- Defining planning methodologies, processes, standards, roles, responsibilities, and governance models
- Establishing concepts for headcount, FTE, labor costs, skills, capacity, productivity, forecasting, and scenario planning
- Translating business strategy into structured workforce planning requirements and decision models
- Aligning stakeholders and facilitating cross-functional decision-making across HR, Finance, IT, regions, and business units
- Advising senior managers and preparing recommendations, management presentations, business cases, and decision papers
- Defining conceptual requirements for HR reporting, analytics, workforce planning, and technology solutions
- Guiding implementation teams and process owners, ensuring that global concepts are scalable, clearly documented, and consistently applied

Requirements
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, or a comparable discipline
- At least five years of experience in Strategic Workforce Planning, with a proven track record in developing and establishing a workforce planning framework
- Strong experience in conceptual design, process definition, governance, and operating models
- Proven ability to translate business strategy into practical workforce planning concepts
- Experience managing and aligning stakeholders across functions, regions, and organizational levels
- Confidence in interacting with senior managers and executive stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of workforce planning methodologies, HR metrics, labor costs, forecasting, and scenario planning
- Excellent analytical, conceptual, facilitation, communication, and presentation skills
- Experience in an international matrix organization
- Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, or comparable solutions is advantageous
